Mixed Gas -- These torches
use a butane/propane mix for soft soldering, hot blow, paint stripping,
tile/label removal, etc. Temperature up to 1750 degrees Celcius.
Propane -- Produces
more heat than mixed gas. For faster and hotter soldering, general heating,
loosening rusted nuts and bolts, removing caulk or putty, thawing frozen
pipes, etc. Temperature up to 1850-1950 degrees Celcius.
MAPP gas --
This fuel (Methyl Acetylene Propadiene) burns very hot and gets the job done
up to 33% faster than propane, thus saving on time and fuel. For rapid soft
soldering, hard soldering, brazing (copper, bronze, silver) and heavy repairs.
Temperature up to 2000 degrees Celcius.
